Propaganda
Many Christians are scratching their heads wondering what is happening to our nation. I believe we have allowed bad leaders to rule our land and we are experiencing judgment. We have had spiritual erosion and now a loss of footing, and territory is being occupied by the enemy.
I remember in the communist years in Eastern Europe the” party line” that was often repeated in the layers of society and advertisement. The message touted the loss of individualism and the communal mindset that “we all are in this together for the greater good of everyone”. Sound familiar?
After the Iron curtain fell the exposure of nations stripped of identity and lies were devastatingly obvious. The atheist motives that doped millions was heartbreaking to see. Many had swallowed the lie and were left empty. Hitler knew the power of a repeated lie. He brainwashed an entire nation with propaganda!
To recognize, identify and pull down strongholds is necessary to expose propaganda. Do you recognize propaganda? Do we swallow the cultural norm without challenging it from the bible and the Holy Spirit? Propaganda is skewed information with intent to divert people into a lie. As students of the word and history we see the vicious cycle when godlessness is left to prevail. To “prop-up the gainsayers” can be a play on words for propaganda
How do we distinguish what is true? The prophet shows us in Jeremiah 15:19:
Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shall be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.
- Remember what was the original pattern
· Address the anti Christ narrative
· Confess faith and reality even in the face of fear - Keep building “the Ark”. Don’t let go of the plow.
Be mindful of what you hear and believe. Don’t be conned! Satan is exposed in Acts 13:10 as one who “perverts the ways of god”. The strongest lie is the one that is closest to the truth! As we saturate our heart with a Christ centered theology we will not be led astray in vain philosophies in Colossian 2:8. There are amazing gospel opportunities as we speak the truth in Love.
If RIGHT cancels LOVE it is no longer right. Jesus was the demonstration of righteousness but he loved in Truth. His “cause ” was to seek and save the lost and to set them free from the lie The real truth will set you free. The Word of God leads us away from ourselves and leads us into rest and an exchanged life. The Love of God has no guile or pretense; it is pure and unadulterated. We can trust it because it didn’t come from us but from a perfect god.
Intercessors
Satan fears the weakest believer on their knees. He knows that they are tapping into a kingdom source that will pull down strongholds and that will make an impact for generations.
Hear the Prophet Ezekiel:
“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.” (Ezekiel 22:30) In Isaiah 59:16 scripture says; “He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor…….”
Prayer helps expose and destroy the works of the devil in 1 John 3:8 and we walk in the authority of another kingdom. We often focus on the symptomatic behaviors rather than the systemic roots issue – when you address the root that is when things change. Recognize your authority is given to you by God and walk in confidence of the promise:
- Pray and know that god is in control
- Make an impact in your moments where you are – be an influencer for Jesus
- Love your families and raise them in biblical values
- Don’t be surprised at opposition – be prepared for it.
Not realizing what you had before it is taken or lost is a real tragedy – but it happens. Lost time, relationships or things that we were asked to be stewards over – even losing people in 1 Kings 20:40. Satan is not neutral and he never takes a vacation; he is busy “seeking” to kill, rob and destroy in 1 Peter 5:7.
Read: Where’s A Place that God Can’t See Us?
I love to read how God commanded Moses to “take back territory” in Joshua 1:3-6 – Wherever the sole of your feet touches! He also promises in Joel 2:25 – Restore unto you what the locust has eaten…..It may be restored differently than what it was, but it will reflect its eternal design. Let’s take back and recover all what has been usurped and stolen from us!
Bind the Strong Man
Matt 12:29…..For who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger—someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house.
Your prayers, your faith, your convictions, your bible truth are weapons that pull down areas that are protected and the devil is free to come and go! We must fortify our hearts and be vigilant over our own selves to be set apart unto Jesus. Evil is patient and often subtle, don’t doubt in the darkness what God has promised you in the light!
Walk in the authority and power of Jesus and bow to nothing else. The righteous are as bold as a lion because the SHOUT of the king is among them!
